Welcome to our fabulous site, situated on the bank of the beautiful and mysterious Whanganui River ! 

Location is the name of the game, the backpackers accommodation right on the river bank!  It is the ideal place to stay some days and enjoy the calm, the nature and the beautiful landscape of our area .....

Our park is centrally and perfectly situated and very suitable for backpackers as an overnight spot to or from the Interisland ferry or a relaxing day's drive from Taupo, Rotorua, Waitomo, Hamilton, Napier or New Plymouth. If you are going to ski this season, we are only a 90 minute drive from the Turoa ski field at Ohakune. Whakapapa is only a 20 minute drive from Turoa. Enjoy the snow on the mountain, but stay in Wanganui where our weather is a lot milder!  Wanganui is the perfect place to wait for the better weather on the mountain, rich of karma.

The summer heated swimming pool provides hours of fun, sun tanning and a great get together place to meet new friens and other travellers.  The private spa is the treatment for the day to relax yourself.

To burn more energy for the day, you can hire our mountain bikes , kayaks and jetskis to discover the beautiful Whanganui River and its surroundings.
